With a fiddle, a bass, a harmonica, a guitar or two, a banjo, a snare drum, and six voices creating a wall of sound you can't back down from, the Flanks are undeniably one of the greats of Brooklyn Country. From auspicious beginnings at the far corners of this land, with influences as diverse as ska and whiskey, The Flanks have been one of my favorite bands since the first time I heard them in 2004.
