Like the diverse acts it champions, The Flaw-Set aches to achieve something ambitious
and original: a DIY cross art-form event that deftly weaves together live musicians, contemporary theatre and performance poetry.
The Flaw-Set was born out of a labour of love for all things 'live'. The night offers a relatively safe space for music lovers to sample new cutting edge performance work and vice versa. However, a disregard for traditional gig going etiquette as well as the unpredictability of the night is what keeps the acts adventurous and the audience on their
toes.
The common thread that unites this eclectic mix is the emphasis on 'performativity'. Within the setting of working men's clubs and the back rooms of pubs, The Flaw-Set reworks the cabaret format. This has forced performers to re-evaluate their approach, reconsidering how they tackle a 'live' set and encouraging honest, direct communication
and a challenge to the performer-audience dynamic.

A Future Without presents: Throwing Snow, Footnotes Part 1 EP
5 tracks of organic sounding, broken beat driven electronic bliss.
Throwing Snow has been compared to the likes of Bonobo, DJ Shadow, Four tet, Xploding Plastix and Quantic.
Jon Kennedy (Tru Thoughts/Grand Central) - 'SUPERB TUNES'
DJ m.path.iq (D:Bug Mag) - 'What I can say is that I don't get unique music like that every day. Throwing Snow has got my full support. Love Listless, Glitter Clatter and the musicality in each digital detail. Ambient vs. Breakbeat vs. World Music vs. Folk vs. Simply Good Taste.'
