INXS!!!!! My oh-so-fabulous-hubby is friends with the band so the past 2 years I've got to hang out backstage at several concerts. Wooo hooo! All the guys are super nice and they sound absolutely incredible live. JD is the perfect frontman. What a voice and he knows how to work the stage. Favorite songs on Switch: Afterglow, Pretty Vegas and Never Let You Go. In San Diego got LOTS of hugs and kisses from the band to congratulate the fiance and I on our engagement. So much fun! These guys are so sweet.

Pasquale Esposito... Ooooh la la Pasquale is a fabulous tenor who immigrated to the US from Naples, Italy. He performs in the SF Bay Area singing classic Italian and modern pop in both English and Italian. Favorite CD: My Passion - Favorite song: Il mare calmo della sera

One of my all time favorite cds: Farinelli is a movie about the life of celebrated Italian castrato soprano Carlo Broschi. To re-create his impressive vocal range both a female soprano and a male tenor's voices were digitally merged to make this amazingly beautiful soundtrack.

Hmmmm what to say about me... My name is Stacie Tamaki and weddings are my life. Well they have been for the past 10 years. My career in the wedding industry began as www.TheFlirtyBride.com designing custom couture bridal accessories for many of the San Francisco Bay Area's most discerning brides.

Evolution led me to designing and developing websites in 2005. One day I realized that I could blend the two industries together, that there was a way and more importantly a need to create a truly unique bridal resource guide. The idea was in my head, the way to create it at my fingertips. So I happily introduce to you:

www.TheFlirtyGuide.com

It's irresistible, progressive and bottom line, really really FUN!

Being Flirty is a state of mind and we invite all women who are engaged, already married, single or somewhere inbetween to come visit the site. The great part is that the site isn't only for newly engaged brides... It's for everyone! Come enter our fun contests and get great ideas for any special occasion, not just weddings.

The Flirty Guide.com is for fun brides who are planning their wedding and want to find stylish and savvy professionals to help them create the wedding of their dreams... Women who may embrace tradition but aren't afraid to put their own personal spin on it. We are introducing to you the concept that wedding planning can and should be fun... And we'll show you how.

    Hello Stacie.

Wasn't it beautiful today? Finally a real humdinger of a spring day. I've been working in my garden. You can see "Pine Mountain" in the foreground, and "Spice Island" just behind. And behind that is a little pond and waterfall. Kinda strange, but I really enjoy it. Especially on days like today.

Hope you're having a great weekend... We will get together soon. I've got an idea.

Happy rainy Sunday, S-girl. I believe that is very Asian of you - to embrace the bittersweet of life as it carves you deeper, a more whole person...I think that's Kahlil Gibran, isn't it?:)
Well, I've been a bloggin fool this weekend - one of which dishes the dirt on last weekend's foray into SF. Hope you're staying dry and enjoying your Sunday. (actually I'm coming up again this afternoon for an Oscar party up in the Avenues...crazy!)
  • Feb 21 2008 11:50 PM

Love all your new updates with the site! I'm excited for your shows coming up next month!
  • Feb 18 2008 7:02 PM

S___,you sweet girl. Thanks for your kind words and for making "Wish" your own. That means more than you know.
Actually, because that song is about heartbreak, it comes with a special guarantee - If you should ever find yourself in that situation, and your spirits are not lifted by listening to "Wish," I will personally come and play on your doorstep until you smile...
(not that this would ever apply to you, since you are now luxuriating in the warm embrace of wedded bliss:)
  • Feb 16 2008 4:21 PM

You are SO SWEET! You must have had a nice Valentines Day, yes? Well, thanks for stopping by, and for listening to "Wish." Yah, that one comes from a deep place. I've had my nose to the grindstone for so long I don't know which way is up, so I made reservations at a Hotel in SF this weekend, going to Yoshis tonight, having my weekly Japanese lesson, going to the Asian Art Museum, and just re-lax-ing... How's this year for you, so far?

    Hello The Flirty Girl
" Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget." With this thought, May your heart be lifted in praise this Christmas for the wonderful gift of Jesus and the joy He brings to our lives. Have a wonderful Christmas and a Blessed 2008,

May the closeness of friends, the comfort of home, and the unity of our nation, renew your spirits this holiday season.
