Sounds LikeREVIEWS..........................................................

The Mag
Raw, unpretentious, with rich meaty beats and riffs. This groove can shake you deep down in your bones.

Bugbear Promotions
Vibrant indeed resonant old-school drenched rock n roll. Powerful and tight as fook, Led Zep thru 60s garage cool.

Emergenza UK Final 25th July 2004 - London Astoria 2, "Mean Fiddler"
Well over half way on the day, on band number twenty seven over all, and it's clear that the quality is finally starting to shine through. The Flow put on a solid and well executed set to the delight of all independent observers. A tight knit group of excellent musicians, their music is easily accessible, and even the fans for the other bands are clearly enjoying themselves.

Hertfordshire & Essex Observer
....The poor sound was something that did not afflict headliners The Flow, who delivered a blistering set of no holds barred good time rock n'roll that was impossible to dislike. If the support acts were rooted in the 80s, then The Flow are definitely in love with the 70s and the sound of Led Zeppelin and Free. The band specialised in songs built for stadiums and threw themselves into their performance as if they were headlining Wembley Arena rather than playing second on the bill in the backroom of a pub. It was brilliant stuff. Hopefully, The Flow will be back in Bishop's Stortford soon to kick out the jams once more!

Bugbear Promotions
Retro Rock of a groovy disposition

Half Moon, Putney
Gritty Rock and Indie, comprising the best elements of Led Zeppelin, Hendrix and The Stone Roses.

Wolverhampton Radio Station, "The Villian"
They Rock! Check out the demo! And I can't wait for them to play up North!"

Definitely Sound
Pounding Brit-rock classicism from Essex that references Led Zep through to QOTSA.

TRACK REVIEWS............................................................

Have you ever been down - Review from www.the-mag.me.uk
"Have you ever been down, have you ever been cheated..." Yes. Yes I have. You probably have been too and that`s one reason you can connect with this track straight away. The other reason that Essex boys, The Flow, appeal instantaneously is that they hang tantalisingly between funky and riffy, which is bound to please fans of either. Imagine the Spin Doctors combined with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, then combined with The Music. Now presumably (and I say this only because most songs do) there is a logical allocation of verse and chorus in this song, but there are three distinct parts on offer - two of which have a melody that claims chorus and one that`s part bridge and part reprise. Why am I talking about this? Well, because it really shows a ton of songwriting effort when every single vocal line is this good. This band are well worth a listen if you`ve got a bit of a liking for Led Zep, The Music, RHCP, The Spin Doctors or The Stone Roses.

Only so Close - Live review from http://www.the-mag.me.uk/?ArticleId=1026
Three songs in – after setting out their stall with some more typical stuff – they slide into a slowed down, definitely unblissed out number which can only be described as Ocean Colour Scene having one bad dream. This is what happened after the river ran red and the only appropriate record sleeve would feature Chris Evans painted by Francis Bacon. It works for me, in an unnerving way.

Million Melodies - Review From www.Mixposure.com
"This is excellent stoner rock. The drums are solid drum track with a nice guitar riff over the top. The vocals are strong and suit the style well, reminded of me of Kyuss at times which is a compliment. I loved the lead guitar work, particularly the faster stuff. Real pleasure to listen to!"

   About The Flow
The Flow are an unsigned four-piece from Essex. Formed from two bands kickin' around the Essex circuit back in the summer of 2002, brothers Dave Drew (Vocals and Rhythm Guitar) and Adam Drew (Lead Guitar) enlisted the help of old friends, (Bassist) Dan Stone and (Drummer) Richie Strockl. Tired of countless bassists not cutting the mustard, and the need for a new groove which fitted the brother's new direction, it was clear from the first jam back in the depths of the old Musictek studios in Romford that this was the line up they had been searching for. The Flow was born.

Now, after a huge list of expanding gigs across Essex, London, and further afield, the four have become a solid unit whose mission is to deliver a blistering live set of no holds barred good time rock 'n' roll to the masses!!!

The Flow take their influences from a myriad of classic bands and genres from the Rock Classics of the 70's like Led Zeppelin, Free and AC/DC to the Baggy guitar and grooves of Madchester like Primal Scream and The Stone Roses and many others in between.

To date, the band have supported the likes of Babyshambles, 80's Matchbox B-Line Disaster, The Crimea, The Metro Riots, The Sound Explosion, Fleeing New York, Battle, Louie, The Dawn Parade and Baby Strange and have gained local and regional press coverage. In July 2004, The Flow reached the Final of the UK Emergenza Battle of The Bands Competition held at the Mean Fiddler LA2, beat off 14 other bands on the night, and were crowned Best unsigned London Band
