Then we'll begin...
The Flux Capacitors originally started out many moons ago when John Wayne was still in short trousers. Back in the day we were once a band called Mr Zebra (just Paul & Scott, with a couple of other lads - Rich Moulding on guitar & Rob Hanson on bass). It's fair to say we were utterly crap. All we did was dodgy covers as fast as humanly possible!
After a few god-awful gigs we kicked Rich out and replaced him with Andy (who at that time only had about 25 guitars), and Scott moved to bass duties after Rob went AWOL. THEN we wrote loads of kick ass songs while still trying to play as fast as humanly possible.
That was until we decided to get a keyboard player...
Enter Dave, not a keyboard player but a shit hot guitarist and that made us what were at our peak... (insert whatever you like here, but its the complete opposite of what we used to be)
Sadly, at the beginning of Summer 2008, The Flux Capacitors called it a day. Paul went on to become the drummer with our good friends' 'Dead Mans Finger' who promptly split up too, Andy & Paul formed 'The Lollypop Kids', and Scott, Dave and Andy went on to form 'Johnny Cravat & The Pedal-Pushers'... so in many ways we're all still playing with each other! (but NOT in the biblical sense!)
In the early months of 2009, Paul is working on his biggest challenge to date: a giant charity drumming extravanganza fund-raiser for cancer and meningitis charities. He will be playing with ALL of the bands he has ever been in, which means The Flux Capacitors will live and breathe once more time!
However, this unfortunate departure of South Yorkshire's finest rock band, leaves a happier legacy... the unfinished album we were working on 'Two Rights Don't Make A Wrong, But Two Lefts Make A U-Turn' is now available to download for free, right here on this site... so take home a piece of the magic, because when we were a band, we were a bloody good band...
Cheers for joining us for the ride
Peace, love, understanding, and all that other hippy-crap...

D.I.Y. MONSTER (Live at SNAFU, Rotherham 5th Aug 2007)
My name is Mark and I am 28 years of age, very friendly, polite and I am considering starting up a business which consists of transportation for bands and musicians.
The vehicle that I have in mind is a mini coach (same or similar size as a Toyota Optimo), which will be converted to carry the bands gear, sleep up to 6 people in bunk style beds and will have seating, table, mood lighting and entertainment consisting of games console, T.V and sound system .
As I have quite a good eye for detail and styling, the finish will be quality, comfortable and eye catching. I will also help with the loading and unloading of gear to and from the coach/venue as well as Merching if needed.
What I need in order for me to obtain any kind of grant or loan to start this venture is a list of bands/musicians/groups etc, that are in need of this kind of transportation and would be interested in my services once I have set up.
I don't have a pricing system set up as yet but I was thinking around the £100 to £150 per day mark (not including fuel), and if the coach was needed for a longer period of time, I would knock the price down.
I would be very grateful for any feedback you might have regarding my idea, and what you would regard as a reasonable price for hiring my services, even if you wouldn't be interested.
Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
