BIO:
Having spent almost a year playing records together, the two real life brothers Dimitris and Panos Lilis , formed the Flying Lilis Brothers dj duo the autumn of 2007, right after their first official release, the critically acclaimed "CITY CAMPERS" compilation that represents some of the best talents of the greek indie scene.
They started running their own club night "CITY CAMPERS DISCO" at venues such as SOUL STEREO at Athens and RESIDENTS at Thessaloniki and soon they built a solid reputation for parties that carve their own path (combining live performances from "City Campers" bands with their unique dj sets) while packing out the dancefloor.
Throughout their weekly column ("INCOMING") at avopolis.gr and their dj sets, they showcase to the Greek crowd, new cutting edge music from French electro to America's hip hop scene and England's nu rave indie scene to German's techno bangers. This pedigree has seen them draw crowds all over Greece and play alongside the likes of 2 Many Djs, Rob Da Bank (BBC Radio 1) , Paul Mogg (Int. Dj Gigolos) and Nadia Ksaiba from London's hip club night "Our Disco". Also the summer of 2008 perform at the biggest Greek festivals such as Synch (alongside to DSL bros from Ed Banger) / European Music Day (W/ Christian Prommer and French bloggers Fluokids ) and after these appearances their name became equivalent to the best parties around Greece.
In September of 2008 they launch a new club night called DISCO POGO and they have already share the decks with legends such as Spank Rock Djs (U.S.), Steve Aoki (DIM MAK /US) and The Glimmers (ESKIMO /BEL), as well as dj talents like Kris Menace (Work It Baby / GER), Them Jeans (DIM MAK / US) Nightmoves (Kitsune / UK), Cosmo Vitelli (I'm A Cliche / FR) and brand new bands as Kap Bambino (FR)
Festival appearances including: European Music Day / SYNCH.
More recently Dimitris and Panos have been concentrating on music production, remixing tracks of infamous Greek indie bands such as POP EYE, Relevant Box, Stilletto Scag and Monsieur Minimal whose debut album production is supervised by Dimitris Lilis.
Some of the live dj mixes of the Flying Lilis Brothers have been posted as mixtapes to various Greek and U.S. music websites and blogspots.
