The Fog plays high energy classic rock songs from the 60’s through today. Comprised of talented veteran musicians of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Music scene, The Fog features music from a wide variety of bands that includes Cream, Tom Petty, ZZ Top, Bad Company, Los Lonely Boys & Santana to create a dynamic musical experience while providing an irresistible beat that keeps the crowd on the dance floor! The Fog is fronted by two excellent lead guitarists/vocalists, Vince DiCiero and ..Robert Mead, who provide a smorgasbord of fret work, from the slick lead, slide and acoustic guitar playing by Robert to Vince’s talkbox virtuosity, songs by such legendary guitarists like Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Peter Frampton, Carlos Santana and Joe Walsh are highlights of The Fog’s shows. Robert, also a talented keyboardist gives The Fog variety that other bands can’t match on songs like “Evil Ways” by Santana and “White Room” by Cream, and even whips out the harmonica on Tom Petty’s “Last Dance with Mary Jane”. On bass guitar is PJ Chiarello, Robert’s best friend for 30 years and former band mate from their days in Sextant, a Kansas City based band, and Food for Thought, a Dallas/Ft.Worth jazz/rock/fusion quartet. PJ and drummer Chris Babler form a tight rhythm section having played together for several years in The Buckwilds and hooked up with Robert and Vince in the spring of 2008 to form The Fog. The Fog is fortunate to have two talented graphic artists in the band as both Robert and PJ provide colorful artwork for the band’s posters and promotional material. The Fog promotes each gig heavily and Vince is in charge of attracting new “friends” and updating the band’s MySpace website. Chris handles the booking for the band and as a former booking agent understands both sides of the business. Recent appearances by The Fog include Bronco’s Sports Bar, The Water Hole and J. Gilligan’s. Upcoming dates include Topper’s Sports Bar, Shotz Sports Bar, Diamond Jim’s, Lone Star Country Club, Grayson’s County Line, Dino’s Live, Augie’s Sunset Café’, KG’s Sports Grill, Salute Club & Rob’s Billiards & Sports Bar.
