I found this digging about on my computer. Its a practice tape. Yes, thats right, a tape. Shitty little thing. We were rehearsing for the Halloween and Whitby Now gig's. We lost Alan about a month earlier and I think this was only the second time Ste had drummed this song.

Whitby now 2008.
Oh what a great weekend of music. Friday night was a full on well attended event, great bands, enthusiastic crowd. Saturday night was something special though. The quality of the music was outstanding. Most of the acts blew me away in their own individual brilliance. We played well and the photos we got were awsome. Were waiting for the rest of the shots to come in, then I'll put them into the pic section. If you didn't go to Saturday night you missed something special.

Whitby now fund raiser at the Resolution, Whitby on 22nd April.
Great night out! Live and loud, all the bands gave a good account of themselves. There was much merrymaking and piss taking which gave the evening a really relaxed enjoyable feel to it. Why don't you come to the next one, you might enjoy it....

What a great night out, loads of great Whitby bands playing on a professional stage setup, what could be better. We've put some photos up but there are many more still to publish.

The Battle of the Bands night at Vivaz was a great night out. Good to see some old friends there. We played well and had the good fortune to get the last slot of the evening. Ste video'd it. I've uploaded it to this site.
We won this heat and will be returning in early May to play in the semi. I'll fill in the details nearer the time.....
The Forefathers are playing at Vivas on the 29th March in the 'battle of the Bands' competition. If you fancy it we may put a bus on so we can all have a jolly decent night out...
I have also remixed Medication time. More drums, flatter bass and better mix of vocals. Let me know what you think....

There seems to be loads of new pic's on sites recently. we're all getting more live shots due to whitby now and whitby rocks and the fringe. It's been a good time for gigs with decent venues and decent equipment. Long may it last.

The Forefathers formed in 2000 and have gone through a couple of changes over the years. Dave Corner joined in 2002 and the line up became set.
The band have released 2 cd's to date. Wiggin out in the thought salon 1 and wiggin out in the thought salon 2.
Cracking production job on the latest tune uploads Gromit. Medication Time is the one I listened to. Good to put names to some of these tunes I've heard you play so many times.
