ohhhhh that makes total sense i don't know how i misread that hahahahah. thats like something i would say. yeah, i get what your saying, i can't play drums well and i'm only okay at singing, and i can only be okay at singing in this indie kind of style because i don't have a high range. i remembered your old singer from when you played at fat bean had a good voice, and a really high range. did everyone in your band really shit out on you? thats really bogus if they did...
yeah we played together at a coffee house. that band went downhill pretty much for the reasons you described, plus we had no musical idea what we were doing. eventually it just ended and now i'm doing this stuff because i only have to rely on myself and not other people to write the music, then i can just teach it to live members for shows. what do you mean your feeling this "jazz way"?
oh yeah, don't worry about it man hahah. but yeah! i remember i think i actually played a show with you guys in my old hardcore band a constant vegas. i've kinda gotten away from that music though. i wasn't sure if you were the same foster portfolio i had played with or not because your only one guy now, but i guess it is. i really liked your stuff back in the day, i always found it way more interesting than the shit every other band (including mine) was playing haha. i'll keep an eye out for singers who are looking for a band. i don't know many people who are serious about singing, but if i encounter any i can point them in your direction. and i'm definatly interested in doing shows together, i need to get this project going. when i get together more shows and stuff i'll hit you up for sure. good luck getting a band together man, i'd really like to hear more foster portfolio someday!
