The Foster-Walker Complex is a Chicago based rock and roll band that formed in early 2004, when they performed at a Northwestern University fundraiser party promoting an upcoming production of the Vagina Monologues. A few months later, the band had already made its way to the stages of several prominent Chicago venues, and started performing with both local and nationally renowned acts, including Gavin DeGraw, The Wailers, Augustana, The Damnwells, The Changes, and The M’s.
In the spring of 2004, the band recorded, produced, and released their debut EP, “The Eleven-O-Three EP,” using only a laptop and a few microphones. The following summer, they recorded their self-titled, full length debut with acclaimed Chicago producer Matt Allison (of Alkaline Trio and Uncle Tupelo fame).

This record led to appearances at House of Blues and Schuba’s, a featured slot on WXRT’s definitive local music program, “Local Anesthetic,” and an invitation to join the roster of Awarestore.com’s emerging artists. In the past few months, the band has begun recording again, this time engineering, mixing and producing the tracks entirely on their own. The results are darker, edgier, and more raw than previous material, but with the band’s signature melodic and lyrical integrity still firmly intact. The band’s current plans include playing out wherever and whenever they can, cultivating a massive and rabid fan base, and scoring a lucrative record deal that will allow them to conquer the world’s airwaves. So go tell all your friends.
