The Four Fifty's are slowly but surely beginning to piece together a new CD of material!
The Four Fifty's consist of 2 young men, Shane Simmons and Stevie McEwan. Armed with acoustic guitars, some other noises and an ear for a decent tune, the lads have already recorded 3 EP's in their short time together.
Forming somewhere between London, Glasgow and the green fields of Ayrshire, The Four Fifty's got together, wrote some songs, played some gigs and got some good reviews.
Their last and 3rd release, the "Penny Wars" EP, saw the inclusion of more instruments and a slight step away from the total acoustic sound they had worked around before. The Four Fifty's are currently optimistic and keep the 'misplaced' apostrophe, even with the hassle it causes.
What others think...
"They are clearly ambitious and capable musicians and quite charming into the bargain, with humorous banter between songs. There was real drive, skill and sincerity from them, good guitar technique and solo skills, songs such as Speed of Sound and The Rain stuck out as good folksy guitar tunes. A curious musical experience!" Colin McGuire, Glasswerk review of Nice N Sleazy's show, 14th February 2006.
"Everyone buy their CD, it rocks!" Linz, Falkirk ;)
"My dad stole my copy of "EP2", he plays it all the time!" Cara Miller, Woolworths employee
