About me:

For the last several years, music in Springfield has been slowly sliding back into its turtle shell. There are fewer places to play and fewer people turning up for the shows that do get put on. But the talent remains in this city as much as ever. The same city that produced late nights on a smoky, sweaty stage with the likes of The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, The Skeletons, The Morells, Fools Face and Kings X has a new generation of music-obsessed bands ready to showcase what they can do. What they need, arguably more than ever, is a place to do it. We are that place. The Four/Four is not a venue; it’s a portal to music. Music in 4/4 rhythm and beyond, music found on or passing through I-44, music played to four-fourths of its potential, a music scene brought together as four-fourths—one. Rock, jazz, blues, folk, country, hip hop—it’s all brought to you through shows, news, photos, audio, video… in time you’ll find it all here. Keep your eyes peeled. Springfield’s music artists deserve an audience. You deserve to hear Springfield’s music artists—by any means necessary and by every means available. If you can hear it in Springfield, it lives here.     I've heard it countless times while playing and waching other bands....Why do they play the same songs?...Well let me take you into the life of a musician so we can compare talent to the average Joe....Ask yourself how many songs do you know word for word? Most full time Musicians that play a 3 hour set know at least 65 songs..How many do you do when you sing Karaoke?...Also Musicians must work on harmony and stops and starts...You should try setting down with your pals, not drunk, singing karaoke and try to really harmonize...Then there is knowing how to play an instrument well and learning all those songs, people dont understand how hard it is to sing and play an instrument at the same time.  Most people dont know that there are only a limited number of notes on a guitar and after the 10th fret they repeat themselves and the time it takes to learn diffrent strumming patterns...So good luck making songs, sound diffrent....Oh yea thats where the YEARS of practice come into play...Music isn't somthing you can just learn in a weekend its years of dedication and hard work for little or no pay. So why dont you stop thinking about how many times you heard the song and listen to how effortless the musician makes it sound. 
    Ps:  Everytime I turn on the radio it's the same song and everytime I hear the jukebpx it's the same song also.  Just saying there is a lot of time and effort that goes into creating live music..Most musicians add about 1 or 2 new songs a month because it takes that long to memorize the chords and the lyrics.  So please respect live music for what it is... ART...This blog is not directed at just anyone.  The people who support live music and the fans who come see us..We Love You! You are who we play for, you move us and give us the energy.  Thank you!  No this is for the Assholes who dont have talent and hate everyone who can do somthing that they cant, so they ruin a good time for everyone else.  It's because of people like that that Art will die

    your frustration in one lane and accelleration in another lane is confusing but also the way of the everything- the light vibration ,frequency sound that you notice are only the ones you can perceive- all the lanky linda's out there betta wise up! fly rite! fang a beer bag til its dry and unable to support its own!

    an if I could spread this on bread it wouldnt be a real sandwich that you could actually eat ,it would be this like, thing from wence we cannot see sound particles you know? this is a physical manifestation of a feeling that doesnt exist my partners and friends- this is a mutual agreement between the positive and negative sides of neutrality- compose me as a math man made of math and geometric air -now compose you as a math girl made of math and geometric water- we are both equally important but cannot operate in the same worlds where water and air are equal
    this secret room hasnt been moved in years and years-should I move something now?Should I leave it as a shrine to the lost artist?Should I salvage any of the remains as a inspiration for the now?Its a beautiful room where the paintings stink from rot but still look the same-The floor is sticky but the paintings still look the same-It has a strange tase in the air but that doesnt change the view-Can we gut this room and remove all time travel?
