80's Thrash Attack!!! Long Instrumental Sections, Uplifting riffs, complex song structures, pounding rhythms, lightning-fast speed, aggression, energy and mayhem!!!
The Four Horsemen is a Thrash Metal band, formed in October, 2004 by lead guitarists, Jared Kiess and Matt Kiess. The music they wrote was fueled by their influences, heavily rooted in classic thrash metal.
Albums like Metallica's "Kill 'em all through Justice", early Megadeth, Testament, Exodus, Overkill, Slayer and Iron Maiden (among many others) influence their music heavily. The goal was to write complex, melodic, yet heavy and pissed off metal pieces as remains today.
The Horsemen would later make the lineup much stronger on April 1, 2005 with the addition of Joel Isaacs on Drums and in November, 2005 by replacing their previous bassist with Aaron Gericke. This is the lineup that now takes the stage.
In early 2006 they recorded the debut demo, "Rebirth of Thrash," containing three of the first songs written. "Hell's Hymn," and "Swift Justice," got immediate airplay on the local metal station.
After the great response from their initial demo, The Four Horsemen returned to the studio to record a new demo. "Restoring Order," was released on November 18th. The demo contains the epic tracks, "Kill or Be Killed," "Burning Madness," and "Treason."
When 2007 rolled around, The Four Horsemen began playing more gigs further away. In April 2007 a show was recorded and later released entitled "Live At The Zebra" in Bozeman, Montana. Which recieved great reviews from the local press. After another solid summer of shows the Horsemen generated enough capital to put together a home studio.
The future of The Four Horsemen looks strong as they gain steam, intent on returning orthodox thrash metal to the forefront of music as it was in 1983 and where it currently belongs. Further recordings lie certainly on the horizon, perhaps very soon to come...
