    "Alt-country-bluegrass-americana-folk-jam-rock-band" It’s the only way to describe the sound of Dallas’ own Four Left Turns. Bringing together the talents of singer/songwriter/front man Trevor Pulver, bassist and harmonizer Justin Whitehead and drummer Scott Thompson has created a sound that’s somewhere between The Grateful Dead and Whiskeytown with a dash of Jayhawks. Fresh off of their debut demo EP, the Turns have been heating up the stages and winning over fans and judges alike. They won the 5th Annual Texas Music Showdown earlier this year and have played Larry Joe Taylor’s 22nd Annual Texas Music Festival, Shiner Sundays at Love and War, Tommy Alverson's Family Gathering and several other appearances around Dallas and Fort Worth. Listen for them on the Brett Dillon Show on 95.3 “The Range.” Or better yet, come see the boys live around town.
