With influences from across the spectrum of rock, metal and beyond, The Fourth Chamber have taken the best bits and made their own, unique, powerful sound. Melodic, layered, guitar-driven songs backed by heavy drums and bass-lines.
TFC's origins date back to before 2000, when Iain and Paul started jamming. Dave joined late in 2001 and the band recorded a demo and gigged once before the singer parted ways. The band, now singerless, focused on diversifying their musicial interests and experimenting and when Tom join as drummer in 2003, his uncompromising volume and power helped steer the band towards a heavier sound.
In 2004, Thom joined as the singer, bringing his own rock/alternative interests, matching those of the band and TFC finally found their feet. Since then, the band have gigged the length of England and created 2 demos, the most recent of which gained them runner-up in the British Academy of Songwriters competition.

Hi !<br /><br />I’m just sending a little message around as we have a question and we want to ask our friends for input.<br />We cannot decide whether to release the Album in late May or June. We plan to tour from mid May and the argument is that if we release in June we can tie the release into the fan build from the tour, but it might get squashed with all the Summer and festival releases, however, if we release in May it might have less competition but we won’t have the tour working yet to promote it.<br />What do you think? It’s been far too long since I last said hello and so much has happened I thought it about time we said hello.
We’ve changed a lot, now we are an “UltraModern, post-electro rock, post-nu rave behemoth where Muse and Mansun meet a Massive Attack with Duran Duran pop sensibilities, louder guitars, and a stunning female front person/guitar virtuoso”, or so we have been told.

With a life aquatic out now @ itunes, which you should all go and download now, this band is going to go the distance.The band comes from surrey and i am sure some high profile gigs will be coming up soon. My personal favorite tune is All Along The WaterFront, in fact i have it on now as i am writing this. Although it is very hard to type while tapping your feet! Once upon a time in a land far far away, came the idea to create a sound that no one had heard before.
