    Frank,  Thanks so much and keep doin' the voodoo that you do so well...
    Well America, we can rest easy.  Goldman Sachs made an estimated 3.1 billion dollars in profits this quarter, with 5.3 billion set aside for bonuses.  They paid back their portion of the TARP money with interest, so what's our problem?  Well, my problem is this:  It's pretty easy to pay back a loan when you get an interest rate of 0.5%.  Last I looked, my interest rate was about 13% and climbing. We bailed you out and you sold us out. No pesky hoops to jump through either, other than the wine and dine with the legislators you bought and sold to get that money.  Chances are, with your 2 billion dollar loss last quarter of 2008, your Fair Issac score would have been a tad low, so I can certainly understand your need for an unconventional loan.
    So you say, Rebecca, of course Goldman Sachs is remorseful and they are working to make America better.  Yup, and I, like Fox Mulder, want to believe, but 'I done ran out of the kool-aid by the time the cup got to me.'  Goldman Sachs received 13 billion dollars of pass-through money from the AIG bail-out and they are underwriting debt and equity to other financial institutions who want to pay back their TARP money at a mere 7% commission.
    There
    is no remorse and no reinvestment in America...Profits were not made by giving credit to millions of small businesses who needed
    it to grow and sustain America's economy. Besides the shenanigans mentioned above, they are still at the fucking poker tables of Wall Street, no regulations in sight.  It's time for an Intervention....A & E, where are you
    when we need you?

    Frank, As much as I'd like to be cool, calm and collected today, I can't.  I'm Mad As Hell!  (Not at you.) The public option amendments did not pass in the Senate Finance committee yesterday.  I'm mad at the lobbyists, mad at the media, mad at Congress, mad at the naivete of my President, but most of all, mad at Americans who won't think for themselves.  I think this clip sums up my mood of the day....Love to you though...xo Rebecca
