After more than ten years touring the globe, Dj Replicant decided to concentrate his energy on his own group and settle in his home town of Paris. upon discovering a mutual love of the music of the 80s, it was only a short hop to forming a band by the name of The Replicants.
This Anglo-French band is composed of the English MC ANDREW VALENTINE and of the multi-instrumentalist/producer ERNEST SAINT LAURENT, and the bass player FRED W!DE (the fighter). Andrew lent his original voice to different English underground groups (Saville Robots, KC Creative, Enemy Voices) ranging from "Acid Jazz", to "Electro", to "Brit Pop". Ernest was noticed for his work on "Source Lab", "Kitsuné", "Yellow" compilations and has created a buzz in England with several 12'inch (clumsy lobster, in the sky) acclaimed in the dance charts and also the NME. Since then he has remixed (Avalanches, Zero 7, Royksopp, Femi Kuti, Faithless, etc). Fred W!DE has been spending is life playing bass with different "indie rock bands" and fighting guys and bouncers in clubs.
THE REPLICANTS reunite by themselves the musical variety of their pasts going from "New Wave" to English "Rock" of early 90's.

The Chap http://www.myspace.com/thechap “Like Underworld if they’d decided to be a lo-fi rock and roll combo instead of a stadium-selling dance act. Stunning, it’s ridiculous, but in a great way.” Vice Mag
The Guillotines http://www.myspace.com/headswillrockandroll “Snarling spunk-punkers The Guillotines come across like Gallows meeting the Rat Pack, with a flame-haired Lauren Bacall wielding a bass, outside a Brighton S&M shop psyching themselves up to buy leather gimp masks. Wanton sax appeal, voodoo rock'n'roll magnetism and growling dirty lounge” NME
Creepy Morons http://www.myspace.com/thecreepymorons “The thunderous blues crunch of The Creepy Morons first materialised in 2005 having risen from the ashes of Hot Tradition and The Beatings. I know its rubbish when I merely regurgitate information from a myspace, but when a band describes its influences as ‘Women, Drinking and Death’, and their sound as ‘Drunken monkeys assembling an Ikea butchers block’, I’d be daft not to.” Jon Hillcock, XFM
