The Freshmen’s WAXED --- Thursday 29 OCTOBRE ’09 --- Rumba&Co Our first guests of the season are the amazing SOUL MIGRANTZ! TiNo, resident dj at Sunnyside Up (Silo), has played all big parties all over the country and is still hot as hell in houseland! Raffa is the driving force and producer behind Sweet Coffee! Together, these cats Belgians fastest rising housemusic producers, with dancefloor fillers such as ‘Calling Chicago’, ‘Socialize’ and the recent remix for mr. Bob Sinclar’s ‘Lala Song’. They come to show you their tricks on the decks: clubbing with a feeling! Supporting them are the new talents King & Cousin! The Freshmen bring you all you expect: a (semi-)live set with drums and samples by BlueTattoo! Jonas Cambien! Klein combined his elevating Electro with the drums of mr. Jasper Vanpaemel! We thank these two resident musicians for their kind support and swinging moments! down_under	Dec 13 2009 9:30 AM down_under and Silenced are joining forces to kick off 2010 in style, with a marathon 12hour party!!! The silenced collective will start the party. They'll guide you safely from 2009 to 2010. You can already look forward to a big countdown, deep basslines and intelligent musical climaxes. These guys know what they 're doing. They've been living on Silo techno for more than a decade now. With great love, they've seen the music evolve to what some might refer to as 'contemporary techno'. Of course, that's just a name. What you can count on, is 6 years of residency at Silo and a line-up that's earthquake-proof: Crisp, Pilsner, Sebastian Häld, Dan Droff, Raphaël Klaps. Over the past year down_under established itself as another quality house night at Club Silo in Belgium. With line-ups of some of the best European Dj talents (Matthias Tanzmann, Martinez, Nick Curly, Christian Burkhardt,...) they gained a reputation as a new innovating party for house and techno heads and party people alike in Belgium. For New Year's Eve down_under is lucky enough to welcome the considerable Belgian talents of Massimo Girardi and Hermanez. Completing the line-up are DU's residents Dezz Terquez and Jitter who will provide their underground mixture of house & techno, which will take you down, deep into 2010.

down_under	Sep 19 2009 9:17 AM down_under will be back on the 17th of October to celebrate our one year anniversary. For this party we are pulling out all the stops with a monster line up. Heading up the bill is MATTHIAS TANZMANN, definitely one of, if not the best dj we had at down_under last season. The ones who were at Silo in February must remember what a great party it was and you probably can not wait for his next set at down_under. Joining him for the first time at Silo will be CHRISTIAN BURKHARDT from the infamous OSLO and raum...music label, who will do a live performance for you all. 'Funkthead' kicks things off in fine style with filtered basslines , jazz keys and spoken vocals delivered in the man from dallas unique style. One for the peak time slots. 'Jack'n Jazz' is just that!....another peak-time floor filler! Next up is the tom special interest remix of 'Funkthead', Tom delivers his trademark swingng beats and vocal snips to give us his funked up version of the original. More peak-time buisiness for the more funky dancefloors. Then we have Matthew Random's remix of 'jack'n jazz'. Matthew takes things on a more techy slant with subtle acid squelches cut up horn samples. A great deep funky techy groove ! After the amazing night with Matthias Tanzmann in February, we decided to carry on with a MOON HARBOUR label night in May with two of their hottest artists MARTINEZ and SEUIL.
