The Freudian Slip is a two piece rock band with a goal to play alternative rock exclusively using one guitar, one drumkit, and one vocal ! Whether at live shows or on Cd. No overdubs or unnecessary details, just loud pumping original rock performed by the two members.
The Freudian Slip formed in the beginning of 2006 with a vision to break away from the traditional musical trends. This is definitely heard when you are struck by The Freudian Slips' uncompromising songs. Nothing is lacking in the sound frame. The two musicians squeeze their instruments to their maximum potential and beyond. it is almost unreal that a guitar can sound sound so unique and cover such a wide sound spectrum.
Chords are rarely played, instead one crushing riff after another is fired away. This is accompanied by simple catchy melodies and solid beats that make you want to jump out of your seat. The songs are clearly characterized by the band..s unusual constellation.
Often, these days, computer techniques set the standard for how a song is produced. Too many musicians are slaves to the copy / paste and click-track formula. This is where The Freudian Slip have chosen another path. They play rock with a creative approach, with no boundaries. The Freudian Slip don’t pretend to be something they..re not, they are exactly what they want to be!
1 2 3 .... one of the best songs you guys have written. I am begging Jed The Fish and Dr. Dimento to play it...if they do....you guys are instant stars....and I'll be your American agent...I'm only asking for 5% of all concert ticket sales, record sales, and royalty radio sales....about 15% less than the average agent. But with that one song, when it hits, I will be able to retire.
