Sounds Like
Flash fryin' a chicken-steak in nitro flames.
Serve this up with spaghetti and chilli beans slow cooked' on the head of a 6 cylinder jimmy-diesel in good old 40-weight sump oil.
This recipe is known around the traps as Chargrilled Racing Tunes and Refried Dieselbilly.
The Fuelers formed as a starvation act in the winter of 1865.
In a far-distant log cabin they devoutly practiced on their pots and pans, their gourd-guitar, washtub bass and cigarbox fiddle.
They patiently honed their act as they awaited the coming of electricity, and the second coming of Elvis.
Nowdays the Fuelers are dragged from Festival to Festival across Australia by their cruel and ambitious "manager" Johnny Crankshaft, repaying an apparent debt that no-one can recall having actually accrued.
The Fuelers run on an involuntary not-for-profit basis, with all their proceeds donated to the greyhound tracks of regional Australia.
They proudly endorse Bigman Powertools and share the Two Star label with The Bootsplashers, John-Boy Walton and other noted success stories.
Oft referred to as "Country" by their city-folk friends, The Fuelers serve up their brand of Dieselbilly as regulars at Tamworth, and, at Wintersun, they masquerade as a rockabilly outfit. At Woodford and the National Folk Festival, they pretended to be a folk act.
If you take a look around, I think you'll find it's It's a big country out there, but the Fuelers have played between Adelaide Fringe Festival in the Famous Spiegeltent and Wintermoon Folk Festival, North Queensland and still juggled their families and day-jobs.
Somehow, they supported Kasey Chambers and have played Circus music in the the Robinson Family's Big Top. "Same set, one's just sung a bit more nasally than the other", says upright bass player Caltex Star.
The Fuelers also present their bizarre "Cactus Cabaret", hosting such game-showesque curios as The Wheel of Fate, The Beer Cactus, The Pants-On drag race and the Rabid Dog Challenge.
They have three albums out, "Hot Dang, it's the Fuelers" 1999-2000, "Kissin' Booth/'Fessin' Box" 2002, and "Actual Size" 2004.
They also appear on various compilations including Wintersun and the Gympie Muster. The Fuelers also proudly appear on W.Boone Law's album "Cold Tequila Rain", 2006
