“Working for many years as designer for lighting and colors, I decided that I also wanted to enrich the world of parties with my visual ideas and concepts.
So I started to realize the images in my head with my camera and the computer.
Until now he has travelled to Morocco, Portugal, Germany, Romania and many many more to visualize parties and festivals. To name a few Boom Festival 2008, Freedom Festival 2007, Rhythms of Peace 2007, Transilvanis Calling 2007, Timegate 2007, Sonnenklang 2006/2007, Spirt Base 2005/2006/2007/2008...
Behind my visuals-project “the funny astronaut” stands the aim to create the ideal sphere of visual projections for goa/psy parties and chillout
The intention is to create an environment of moving images to help the dancing crowd or just spectators to abandon reality and get lost in trance. Abstract patterns, dancing and the change of visual perception under different influences are my most used motives.
Ideally the whole place is covered by the decoration via multiple screens or even huge installations.
Of course visually reacting to the music and interacting with the present dj plays an important part in my work. This makes each event special and a unique visual experience for me and the audience.”
