The Fun Size Guys led by Jeff Forrest and Rick Saunders offer an exciting departure from traditional kid’s music. The two have extensive music experience as touring musicians, recording engineers, songwriters, and even have experience teaching elementary school kids. These experiences have enabled them to write fun tracks that kids, parents, teachers, and people of all walks can enjoy and embrace. To quote a recent review from Taxi, the worlds leading A&R Company for independent artist, “The Fun Size Guys have fun in each of their songs without talking down to their audience (kids)”. “Their experience of song crafting and affinity for kids of all ages shines through in the work they produce”. Fun Size songs promote good themes, memorable melodies, and the love of childhood. Take a listen, try it for yourself, and become a Fun Size Fan.
The Fun Size Guys are set to release their debut record Smile Away in early May 2008, which is a lock to win over every kid with their accessible melodies throughout the disc. From the beginning Bo Diddley style riff on the song Kindergarten Hop, The Fun Size Guys make an immediate impression on any age group. From there you can relax on the reggae driven track Time Flies, or go Jammin in Your Jammies for some sleep over fun. If that is not enough, head over to the Animal Party to sing along with Jerry the squirrel or watch Tony the pony play the six string and the donkey on the ole hand jive. If you want to learn some educational material, try the tracks Name that Sound or Days of the Week. Any song you chose to listen too, it is without a doubt you will be left smiling away and subdued by the music of The Fun Size Guys.
