About The Furr (looking for new members)

The Furr are a Winnipeg based quartet that has developed its own take on rock n' roll. The band took the earlier part of 2007 to prepare and record the debut EP, "The Furr is Murder." The EP was received extremely well throughout Winnipeg, resulting in a single spending multiple weeks on college radio top 40 lists, and constantly playing shows in and around Winnipeg. After two successful eastern Canadian tours, and sharing the stage with bands such as The Waking Eyes and Two Hours Traffic, The Furr recorded and released the three song demo, "How Fortunate You Are," in December 2008. The demo clearly shows the band's growth in song-writing and musicianship, and releasing it via free download falls in line with the bands fierce passion for people to hear and see their music. With plans for a full length set, and a reputation for a vigorous live show, The Furr have no intentions of slowing down, and intend to play as hard as possible every opportunity they find.
