Officially launching in March 2009, The Fury are a four piece from Guildford, Surrey, consisting of Andy Masson (Vocals/Guitar), Steve Balkwill (Guitar), Alex Masson (Vocals/Bass Guitar) and Mike McQuillan (Drums). Their music draws inspiration from classic rock acts such as AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Cream and Aerosmith.
In Summer 2009, the band stormed to the top in es0terica's 'Battle for Shepherds Bush' competition, getting over 1000 votes from fans!
Winning the competition gave the band a chance to play at the historic Shepherds Bush Empire opening for Forever Never and es0terica.
Following this, they released their Self Titled 7 track EP, which mixes new songs with some of the older ones as this is the first recording since Steve joined the band. Copies of the CD are currently available exclusively at gigs, with an online release coming soon.
