The Future is current, evolving and in progress daily.
The Future 9.15 is a highly original project created by Robert Lowe, drummer and founder member of the band Abbfinoosty.
Robert writes the music, lyrics and plays many of the instruments which provide a backdrop for some superior lead guitar work by guests Andy Hyldon and Asif Ali (Asif is also formerly of Abbfinoosty).
Hawkeye did the mix.
Style is non restrictive and ever changing from song to song.
Child is a story of birth, growth and the journey to fullfilment. Wild guitar solos, lively drums, melodic bass lines, a backdrop of near classical synths and a lyrical story line that runs through the entire album.
Child is the first album from The Future 9.15 and there is a fully inclusive art work package available on the band website with this album.
The recording of the second album "Us" is in progress which has more guests appearances and is expected to be released early 2010 once everyone's schedules can be co-ordinated.
How does anyone manage to get two such superb guitarists in one band? Andy seems to be able to do anything that people like Gilmore and Page can do and I’d say he is as good as any of those. Asif on the other hand is completely different, as a guitarist myself I have no idea how he is making those sounds or what he is doing to make them. Some of the lyrics and vocals remind me of Steve Hillage.

Terrific lead guitars and the rest of everything else all very original. Definitely influenced by the best. I can hear bits of Led Zep, genesis, Floyd with a bit of Jean Michelle Jarre thrown in. The originality of the lyrics and the rest of the band make it all a very good experience.

Thanks, that is really nice of you to say, we were a bit unsure of how it went to be honest, so it's great to get some positive feedback. We're just waiting on the final mixes of 2 new tracks we recorded a month ago so hopefully we will finally have some new material to put up on myspace soon!

Haha yeah it was an amazing festival. I think I had a better time last year but maybe thats just becuse I knew what to expect this time arround! Was still the highlight of my summer though :D xx
Ahh isn't that nice haha :). Havn't got much going on, i've just been revising, because my exams start in May :O . After that we'll be going up north because Laura [cousin] is having her wedding reception, so I had to buy a new dress hahahaha [awesome excuse :D] I can't wait till the suns out either, I wanna be able to walk around in shorts again instead of being all wrapped up in tights, leggins, socks and jeans haha, anyway, enough with the rambling, how about you? xxx
Got my dance exam results back - it went okay but wasn't what I wanted, I got just over half the marks, I got 58. Well, thats if it was out of 100, not really sure if i'm honest xx
