About Us
The Gain Stage is a hard rock band from New Jersey. The band's roots trace back as far as 2004, when vocalist Steve Adams and guitarist Russ Posluszny began a cover band. Playing songs from artists such as Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, and KISS, the shortly lived group disbanded after only a few gigs. Steve and Russ began writing original material and playing shows throughout the Northern New Jersey punk rock scene.
By 2006, The Gain Stage had released their debut EP They Came From Planet Rock. Their mix of strong melodies, intelligent lyrics, and driving music makes their sound accessible to fans of a wide variety of backgrounds yet unique enough to stand out from their peers.Over the past two years the band has been writing, rehearsing, and playing constantly. In 2007 the band added guitarist Dennis Pimental and drummer Zach Patten to the group, solidifying their lineup and completing the band's sound.
