   About The Gala Band

New Album

We've had a busy summer with our first UK tour, and a string of festivals but the big news is, we've started work on our debut album. It's being produced by PJ Harvey collaborator and Producer John Parish it's already sounding special. There's no release date set yet, but we can't wait to get it to your ears so we will be previewing of one or two of the tracks here soon.

Little Revelations OUT NOW!

3rd September 2007

Our debut EP, Little Revelations is out now on Dreamboat Records. The CD is priced £4.00 and is available to order now from the Dreamboat online shop. Or you can download it from all good outlets like Bleep.com, Rough Trade Records or Itunes

For Moving Light Patterns, have a look at the beautiful music video directed by Sam Wilkins for the track Bird on a Wire.

"Absolutely brilliant...the most exquisite voice". BBC Radio Oxford

"Great, great tunes". Johnny Coppin, BBC Radio Gloucester

"A really rather lovely record". Bristol Uncovered, BBC Radio Bristol

"An audacious little debut this, from an audacious little frontwoman. 4 Stars" Venue Magazine

"I received this CD a couple of weeks ago and since then it has not left the player. The reason for this I think is originality. I haven't heard anything like this before. Unusual time signatures, amazing vocals, skilful playing and highly original songs. For musical competence and originality this get a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED award". bristolrocks.co.uk

Hey! Appologies if this is the second comment we've sent you recently...bit of a mix up in the bands communication :)

It's called Bright Lights and has four brand spanking new tracks to blow your mind. Please have a listen and tell us what you think and if you love it, buy it! :)

"Exciting, Striding and assured. It has an energy reminiscant of everything that was good about the Klaxons debut album.." - BBC Radio Bristol

Hey Ben,

Good to meet you in the Hatchet on Friday night.

I think I drunkenly mentioned possible gigs for next year sometime. Anyway I thought I'd say hello in a more sober light and reiterate that if you want to fix a date to come play the Folkhouse that'd be great.

Best wishes,

Toby
