About us
We play melodic, carefully arranged songs in which things are not always as they seem. Sometimes there are harmonies, sometimes there are few words. Sometimes there are tales of strange lands where holy ghosts haunt fiery lakes and animals dance around the disco. Raised with folk, blues and punk rock we combine it all to make a sound that is fragile yet dramatic. Ben plays guitar, Martha plays piano, and Charlotte plays cello. We all sing but mainly Ben.
Formed in the fine city of Norwich 3 years ago we went by the name of Tidy for quite a few years before admitting that it didn't really mean enough outside of Wales. We started out playing accoustic nights and have since been invited to all sorts of places including a rock festival, cabaret night, arts festival and a field. last year we migrated south, to London and Bedford to pursue our dreams of happily ever after.
