We round off the month with a welcome return to The Gallery for the one and only Eddie Halliwell. One of our first guests when moving to the Ministry of Sound Eddie continues to enjoy world wide appeal as a true djs dj. A technical wizard behind the decks, Eddie has spent the summer at his Cream residency blowing the proverbial roof off Amnesia and tonight will be no different.
Having mixed another Cream compilation this summer as well as launch his Fire It Up Radio show which is syndicated the world over; Eddie remains as ever a popular figure with clubbers. Welcoming him back to the world class surroundings of the Box at Ministry of Sound we cannot wait to watch this showman at work behind those decks. Joining him will be another welcome return to The Gallery for Irish trance sensation John O Callaghan having continued to turn out big room tune after big room tune John is a firm favourite with the trance establishment and has enjoyed a meteoric rise through the ranks and is now a frimly established name in the DJ Mag Top 100. Now releasing on Armin van Buuren’s huge imprint Armada; John will be providing his usual tough beats and lush melodies.

Morning, how does The Gallery find you this morning?
I am having a rare Monday morning at home after a weekend DJing in the UK.
You are back at The Gallery this Friday, how has your 2009 been thus far?
2009 has been another belter and there's still plenty to look forward to with a West Coast US and South American tour starting next week, and an Australian tour starting on New Years Eve in Sydney, which will round the year off nicely.
What can we expect from your goodself on Friday?
Plenty of fire!
What are your current top 3 tunes of the moment?
A couple of tunes that I have been playing throughout the year, and can't stop playing are:
Cirez D, 'On Off' and Dustin Zahn - 'Stranger' (To Stability) Len Faki Mix...and a more recent track that's doing the damage is, Sneijder - 'The Phuture'
Which dj / producer has stood out for you in 2009?
Marcus Schossow and Jordan Suckley
What plans have you got for the festive and new year period?
Christmas Day will be spent with family and friends, then it's all systems go from Boxing Day onwards - with two gigs in Ireland on Boxing Day, then off to Australia for a two week Summadayz tour.
What was the last thing that made you smile?
My brother's wife had her baby a few days ago - meeting my new nephew for the first time put a massive smile on my face!
And the last thing that made you angry?
Sitting in traffic
We kick start the festive month with the return of none other than Gallery resident and trance supremo Markus Schulz. Joining him will be Jerome Isma-Ae and a bevy of residents in the shape of John Askew, Gavyn Mytchel and The Viceroy. The Bar welcomes Berwick Street Sessions with guest Kenny Hawkes and resident Timo Garcia.

Review: "Don Goliath's "Bagstep EP" (DDR030) is one of those innovative EPs showcasing how versatile Dubstep can get. The unique idea of creating Dubstep versions of celctic (Irish as well as Scottish) folk classics for all you drunkards longing to sing along was Don Goliath's motto when producing this madness. The concept is as simple as effective: he picked 4 of your grandpa's favourites such as "Old Skibbereen", "Scotland the Brave", "Drunken Sailor" and "Amazing Grace" having the melody played by a definitly non-sober Bagpipe section and then layering it with lofi mid range wobbleism - we therefor call it Bagstep. Overall production quality is high grade with that intense sub focus so you can blow-dry your hair right in front of the bass bins. Now let's get into the tunes: "Skibbereen Bagstep" is one of the melancolic minor tunes expressing Irish history as it is. It is an unmixable 3/4 waltz beat at unusual 154bpm, well dancebal though when one moves to the triplets. "Bagstep the brave" should be one of the sickest rebuilds of the Scottish national anthem making it Mel Gibson's signature tune if he had one. "Drunken Bagstep" is a Glitchfest version of the sailors anthem capable of getting you uberdrunk by listening alone, Arrrr! "Amazing Bagstep" is as religious as it gets making it a tune that'll certainly safe xamounts of lost souls. Enjoying the dancefloor got even easier now: drink out the bar, make your skirt fly and sing along to these (future) classics! Some will hate this release and some will love it, there barely is anything in between. All Dubstep Division crew salutes the latter as our fellow beerheadz! cheeeeeerz!"

Only two dj's have performed at the three most important Electronic music festivals (Monegros, Electrosonic and Aquasella), being Fatima one of them. She has spend the summer making clubbers dance all over Spain. And now, many people are aware that Hajji means trae Hard Techno and exhausting sesions.
