Toby is sick of his job, his love life, and his family. He's at that awkward age in every sprouting young adult's life where he should have left the house years ago, and apparently somebody up there thinks so too. Sleeping late causes him to fall head-first into an evil entity's mishap, blessing him with the Dark Lord's magical Gallstone. The sudden coincidental death of his father leaves him only momentarily with no family as he is soon introduced to his long-lost god father who changes it all, Mage Gonadrius Celestius. Traveling miles on a magical device deemed 'Bikey', these two clashing partners do all they can to ensure the Gallstone's safety by bringing it to non other than the King himself. Toby will soon learn that the trick to finding the diamond in the rough isn't always digging deep.
THE DIRECTORS:
Dominick John and Dan Span met in 1997, and they've been making movies ever since. In today's world the screams of society all but encourage individuals to take their own true dreams and run with them, but for these two none of that matters anymore. After completing their first feature-length comedy, "The Gallstone", the two kids-at-heart are taking themselves to the top in a most unconventional way: a nationwide college tour featuring an outdoor interactive premiere. Starting in New York, the founders of Barking Rat Films will travel to major colleges all the way to California where they will promote over three full-length scripts (both joint and individually written) that are ready to be made into box-office hits. Among them rumor has it that a Gallstone throwback could also be in the works. Living off whatever college money they have left, the boys will be sleeping in a car, eating more then their share of Ramen noodles, and accepting any kind of help possible to get them to Los Angeles. So be on the lookout, Dan Span and Dominick John are soon to be heavy hitting players in the all too bland film industry today; bringing with them a well needed revival to out-of-the-box thinking. for more information go to:
