"Ganbare" (pron. 'Gone-Bar-Eh') a Japanese word which roughly translates as "GO FOR IT!"
The Ganbare Spirits Ensemble is a 10-12 piece creative arts ensemble that plays in the Northern California region. Led by Saxophonist/Composer Adam Jenkins, the Ganbare Spirits Ensemble is a rather rambuncous little big band. We play what we like to play then we route 100% of our profits through the Microloan agency Kiva (see the blogs)to help other people throughout the world who have the Ganbare Spirit. We are not very big fans of mean people, but let them come to our concerts anyway to try to change their mind.
