The Gas Giants are a five piece bread in the womb of the Funk Mother and released on earth in a small town called evans head in northen NSW. They formed one cold september in 2006 when funk could hold itself down no more and started writing their own songs.
The band cosists of Joe "the wise man" Wythes on sax + vocals, , Jordan "crazy ass" McGeary on vocals+trumpet+keyboard+drums, Josepy "bruiser" Belford on guitar+bass+percussion+dance co-ordinator, Luke "kangaroo man" Hayward on guitar+bass and Brianna "water" Waters on Vocals and wicked dance moves.
Our music is influenced by funk, rock, reggae and roots.

Hey we got details about the gig. It's in the Evans Head Surf Club Car Park unless there is bad weather, in which case it will be held at Evans Head High school. Do you know how to get to either of those places? I haven't recieved a map yet but I'll look them up on google.
Also, do you guys have a P.A. we might be able to borrow for our set? Apparently we have to supply one but we don't have our own. I just asked the Thunderkatz that too but not sure if they have one either.

Yeah we're playing, I just got on to the guy he said he will send me directions on Monday or Tuesday so it's all good! It will be good to catch up with you guys again, do you know if Kamikazis are playing?
