The "Legendary Gasmen" rediscovered for a new generation of listeners to enjoy. After the demise of the Disco Chickens in the mid 1980's , and the success of the Andy Russel "On my Own" solo record, the staff at Taboo Tapes had an idea for a new Taboo supergroup. The concept of the Gasmen was born. The hype in the Belmont scene was overwhelming and what we have here is the result of the the long lost Taboo Gasmen Recordings. This was recorded live at a Getty Gas Station in Belmont during working hours. In order for the concept to work it had to be real! You got it Baby! The fuckin Gasmen recorded live, semi acoustic with improv, from the soldout performance art show. We Danced, We Laughed, We Ate Pizza and Pooped in The Window Wash Bucket! For maximum enjoyment.....PLAY LOUD!!!!!!
