Music
Most music is incredible. Rock, rap, melody, tech-electronica, passionate, creative, smooth, funk, reggae, groove...its the lyrics that mostly determine my selection, not just the sound, the truth.
Movies
Make me think and make me proud with your ending. Shyamalan's Village, Most Robin Williams', Gibson's, great works by Gondry, Shakespeare moderns, Amelie, most anything that's worth the time you spent your life on, and the time I spent of mine to observe
Television
Don't own one personally, but there's one in my roommate's house...I use it for movies.
Books
John's First Letter, Proverbs, Romans, Ruth, Yakobas & Yeremias, DEADLINE, All Miller (Blue, Searching, Through, To Own...) In His Steps, Complex Evolution (Will Richey), Devil in the Details, Not On Our Watch
About me: I have lived over twenty-four years, in eight united states, ten zip codes, include Japan, at least twenty-nine homes, with at least forty different persons, attended eleven schools, earned one diploma and two degrees, read books, listened to music, watched movies, written poems, worked jobs, competed in sports, entertained clubs, bars, universities, high schools, colleges, restaurants, parks, stadiums, auditoriums, and mega-churches, swam in oceans, driven the span of our nation, interacted with people, and about three quarters through, I began to know One God. Composing my current 24/7 is realizing that since I am not the person I want to be, I am what I need to do first. Spoken Word and art, Prayer, Study and Research, Outreach, Cooking and Eating, Sleeping, BMX riding and exercise, running, adventuring, resting, dreading, world vision, editing, and general life maintenance. 5.28.07 update.
Who I'd like to meet: you...more often...on good terms
haha, I'm sorry it made you feel dirty. Truthfully though it's not about what you think, it just the way it came out. It's good to hear from you too. How have you been?
I don't know if jason told you or not, but I'm coming back up with my family on June 12th. I'm really excited! We have to hang out while I'm up there, I miss you so much.

Thanks for being my friend
Current mood: thankful
Thanks for being my friend
I'll be there for you till the end
whatever may come your way
Jesus would like to say
He gives us special people
to come into pur path
not knowing what they need
or doing the math
But when you give a smile
It will go hundreds of miles
So keep your chin up
don't let anyone interupt
what good things he has in store
Believe me, it will be a Big Door.
hey garret, congratulations on your show last night, quite impressive! you have every reason to celebrate yourself. look forward to buying your cd (i didn't have any cash on me) and yes i insist! and hope we can continue to write together and also throw some frisbee and go to the beach sometime. and thank you as well to the beautiful community you have gathered together. the vibe in the room felt so warm & open & joyous & appreciative. amen
I've been thinking about you lately. We should get together when you get back in town. I hope you have a good show tonight. Let the light shine my friend
