About The Geargrinders

St. Louis rock'n'roll band, the brainchild of Jeff Hess (ex-Hippies in Flames, Drunkabilly & the UnMutuals and current host of KDHX's "Afternoon Delight"), and Chucklehead Records hitmakers (it is rumored that "I Can't Pretend" was heard several times on KDHX back in the day). The band originally existed 1996-1999, and are about to make a comeback with a new lineup and new attitude in 2007. Watch out world...

St.Luniverse video	Apr 27 2008 2:43 PM REPOST THIS!!! help keep original music wedsndays going!! charlack pub needs at least 2 more bands for this wednsday april 30th,or he will have to cancel the show...this will be his second in a row that he has to cancel & if this happens,then original music wednsdays are over if youre a local music fan these are free shows that you can come to every other wednsday & see 3 or 4 bands for free so theres no reason not to get out & see some live music if youre a band,then this is a win win for you because you get a PAYING gig in the middle of the week where there isnt alot of other competing shows,at a new place youve probably never played before so you have the potential to make new fans,this venue /promoter buys local bands cds,tells the crowd to buy them as well & they play them over the speaker system in the bar for the regular patrons & this bar may be small but it does get packed up with probably a hundred people & on a wednsday night thats a hell of a crowd also for playing the charlack pub you get special deals on videos...you can either get one or two songs free(they pay me so you dont have to)or you can get a half hour set for only $10 & they will use your video to promote you so you get free promotion as well you cant beat it!!! help the stl music scene by helping those that are busting their ass to help you!!! get ahold of jason at myspace. com/liveatthecharlackpub
