Winners of the 2009 Inland Empire Music Awards for Best Live Band and Best Indie Rock their music is best described as straight up Rock n Roll with special attention paid to melody and groove. If you’re a fan of great classic rock, then you’ll dig The Generation.
Formed in November of 2006, the Riverside quintet quickly broke out of the rehearsal room and played their first show on January 13, 2007 at the now defunct Tremors night club. The house was packed, the boys rocked, and the band hasn’t looked back since.
Gigs at the Press Box, the Mission Tobacco Lounge, the Blue Café, and the legendary Whisky a Go Go have allowed the band to assemble a high-energy action packed Rock n Roll showcase of extraordinary original songs and tried and true Classic Rock covers.
The band’s musical influences are as broad and varied as are the band members themselves.
DENNIS GABRIEL – Lead Vocals, Rhythm & Lead Guitar has been playing music on one instrument or another since he was 6 years old. His influences include Def Leppard, Boston, Tesla, The Eagles, Jim Croce, Heart, Journey, Ratt, Van Halen, AC/DC and The Darkness just to name a few.

There’s more to tell, but we'll let the music do the talkin'.

Congrats on 'Your Music Award!' I'm sure you're all real proud! I like Donny Dope a lot. Funny thing-I feel I'm related to him-only I don't do drugs/booze! What's my excuse? Music/Lyrics pretty good! Casey's Song-good! I definitely can relate.
May your Music "shine on" in your lives for always! =) And your Children receive the same gifts! My grandson is already a "prodigy." A rock-n-roll prodigy! Thank-God is wasn't hip/rap crap! Sorry-as you can tell, I am biased!
The trip out there sucked. Blew the radiator just this side of flag, towing the tent trailer. YUCK! The band did great on stage as always. I think they had a good time. It was way too fuckin' hot to even go whatch bands untill 6:30 pm or so. Rocklahoma needs to be sometime not the fuckin' middle of July or it will not last! We won't go back unlees they change the timing. Other than all that it was great! How bout you? How was your weekend bro? peace, mike......
