Winners of the 2009 Inland Empire Music Awards for Best Live Band and Best Indie Rock their music is best described as straight up Rock n Roll with special attention paid to melody and groove. If you’re a fan of great classic rock, then you’ll dig The Generation.
Formed in November of 2006, the Riverside quintet quickly broke out of the rehearsal room and played their first show on January 13, 2007 at the now defunct Tremors night club. The house was packed, the boys rocked, and the band hasn’t looked back since.
Gigs at the Press Box, Mission Tobacco Lounge, Angel's Sports Bar, Lake Alice Trading Co., the Blue Café, and the legendary Whisky a Go Go have allowed the band to assemble a high-energy action packed Rock n Roll showcase of extraordinary original songs and tried and true Classic Rock covers.
The band’s musical influences are as broad and varied as are the band members themselves.
DENNIS GABRIEL – Lead Vocals, Rhythm & Lead Guitar has been playing music on one instrument or another since he was 6 years old. His influences include Def Leppard, Boston, Tesla, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Jim Croce, Heart, Journey, Ratt, Van Halen, AC/DC and The Darkness just to name a few.
SKIP MAZEY – Lead Guitar, Backup Vocals is a decorated Vietnam combat veteran who has been playing music for over 40 years. A former studio musician, Skip cites Carlos Santana, Elvin Bishop, Michael Bloomfield, and BB King as his biggest influences.

There’s more to tell, but we'll let the music do the talkin'.
Peace….
