We know what your thinking. You see the rainbow banner and you assume. A rainbow? Does that mean you're a "gay" organization? Nope...and that's the point. We are here to take the symbol of the rainbow back. All the way back to original, God- given intent. In Genesis 9:8-17, God places the symbol of the rainbow in the sky to give remembrance of His faithfulness and the keeping of His Word.
NOTE: We are NOT here to be discriminatory in any way to the gay community. We love them. We just wish to return the God given meaning to the rainbow. That's all.
-To those who read this and believe themselves to be homosexual, know beyond a shadow of a doubt that change is possible. God loves you. He has amazing things for you! Any questions or concerns, feel free to send us an email.
The Mission Statement:
The Genesis 9 Movement was originated for these intentions:
1)to “take back the rainbow”… to reconnect people with the truth and original meaning and symbolism of the rainbow. It was originally mentioned and symbolized as a sign of God’s covenant and promise to humanity
( Genesis 9: 8-17).
2) to inform churches, communities, families, and individuals on the issue of homosexuality. We are here to help provide resources to those wanting to learn as well as to bring hope to those struggling with homosexuality… that change is possible.
3) We are here to encourage the church to engage in the lives of those struggling with homosexuality to support them, befriend them, encourage them, pray for, and build restorative relationships with them to help them walk in freedom and experience the healing that God has for them.
8Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying,
9Behold, I establish My covenant or pledge with you and with your descendants after you
10And with every living creature that is with you--whether the birds, the livestock, or the wild beasts of the earth along with you, as many as came out of the ark--every animal of the earth.
11I will establish My covenant or pledge with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood; neither shall there ever again be a flood to destroy the earth and make it corrupt.
12And God said, This is the token of the covenant (solemn pledge) which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations:
13I set My bow [rainbow] in the cloud, and it shall be a token or sign of a covenant or solemn pledge between Me and the earth.
14And it shall be that when I bring clouds over the earth and the bow [rainbow] is seen in the clouds,
15I will [earnestly] remember My covenant or solemn pledge which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters will no more become a flood to destroy and make all flesh corrupt.
16When the bow [rainbow] is in the clouds and I look upon it, I will [earnestly] remember the everlasting covenant or pledge between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
17And God said to Noah, This [rainbow] is the token or sign of the covenant or solemn pledge which I have established between Me and all flesh upon the earth.

2At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. 3And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald. 4Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads.

1Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire. 2He had a little scroll open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land, 3and called out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring. When he called out, the seven thunders sounded.
