KiRA's Ambient & Downtempo Radio Show 'Downtime' airs on www.protonradio.com, new episodes every 3rd Monday at 6:00 AM EST and available on demand!
The Genre Show is a result of DjKira's passion for EDM, and all it's many genre's, working on a 'if I like it, I play it' basis. The show is about variety, with guests often stepping outside the box, to bring you something that little bit different. That said, DjKira's main style leans toward the realms of Progressive House & Progressive Breaks - with 'edge'. He mixes on multiple platforms, and as you will find from listening to his sets, there is a great love of the early days of electronica, and he can't resist bringing a rare classic or two in to most of his dj mixes - much to the pleasure of his ever growing fan base. His main influence's in electronic music come from many weekends spent at Bristol's 'Lakota' nightclub. He says "They were the best nights (music & atmosphere wise) that anyone could have experienced in that period of dance club history!" DjKira hopes that you enjoy the musical journeys that he, and his guests, prepare for you!
