The Get-Outs are a highly entertaining mod-punk 3-piece with a super-powered sound influenced by garage rock, mod, punk, surf and new wave all wrapped up in sugar-coated 3 minute pop song packaging.
Since formation in May '03 The Get-Outs have played many gigs in and around their hometown of Bristol and have built up a large and loyal fanbase. Stand out gigs include the Bristol Community Festival, the International Pop Overthrow Festival at the Cavern in Liverpool, slots at the Hope and Anchor (Islington), Camden Barfly, The Dublin Castle and a very successful tour of Barcelona.
They currently have two albums available:

"Album Title Here"
Ok it's more of a self titled album but you get the picture when you look at the cover. This time round the boys decide to go for a bit of a concept approach, all tracks were recorded, produced, mixed and mastered (by the multi talented drumnist Matthew) in the kitchen at the Fountain (Dave & Matt's house) in Bristol. After using many studios in local area over the years the get-outs decided to create their own multi purpose budget priced self demo producing machine and dubbed it Thee Rekorditron. This 11 track album is the result of the initial maintenance testing of this (sometimes temprimental) machine that has now gone on to record many excellent demo's from local bands such as Strike-Eye, The RV Cartel and Overgade. So this is DIY in the truest sense and the quality of sound is second to none you can almost smell the bacon cooking on the half working stove and the faint buzz of the beer fridge. Oh and the qaulity of the actual songs? It's the get-outs mate, it's what they do best trust me.
1. Out to freeze
2. If you wanna leave
3. Beer can
4. Can't do wrong
5. Modern love
6. Stay forever
7. V.C.I

Album Reviews
The Get-Outs are what I call a musical power plant. With their mixture out of Garage, Punk and Alternative The Get Outs know how to entertain the listener. Daredevil Magazine
The slight distortions in the sound give the songs an edgy feel, which fits right in with the “in your face” vocals. So don’t be fooled, despite the danceable quality of the songs, there is enough energy and attitude here to please even the odd Buzzcocks fan. Recommended!

With The Get-Outs you get the added bonus of a quality mic-spitter with a Gaz Coombes-like yelp. They have a lot of the modern-day Undertones about them with their solid, yet vibrant, power-pop tunes. Refreshing stuff.
Vanity Project Fanzine
The Get-Outs are a fantastic power-pop trio from Bristol, U.K. GET THE MESSAGE is the bands debut full-length disc, and it is full to the rim with glam style and punk muscle. All 13 tracks are well-crafted songs that could all be hits. GET THE MESSAGE is a great, maybe monumental release and makes The Get-Outs a total band for rock's future.

Whether biting guitars play in 70's harmony, like .. Shootin'", or punk vocals break into harmony, like "Enemy Inside", pop infuses the punk with gorgeous melody, like "With You", or heavy, fuzzed guitars lean toward grunge, like "Human Race," this crisp set will make you want to get up on your feet, hit the floor bouncing, and kick out the jams.

With songs like “Breakdown”; a catchy rhythm with a choppy guitar riff embossed over the top, and “Human Race”; an under two minute mosh anthem, the band certainly have the tools to make some sort of impression on the UK rock scene and perhaps front a whole new group of British bands who are determined to shove a good dose of masculinity back into our music.

Human Race is so blistering it could melt Jacko’s face at 200 yards, while the synth-intro’d, power-popdom of Get With The Now smacks of a bid for the nation’s airwaves and With You exudes the sort of bittersweet fuzzpop Pete Shelley & Co excel at. Recommended.

The music is hard driving punk-influenced rock with good, upbeat tempos and enjoyable melodies. Each song is enough to make you bounce up and down, with energy in abundance.
