The Ghen is a four-piece progressive rock band who have been making music since they formed in the spring of 2009.
The band comes from a village in Slovenia, called Bistrica ob Sotli, a village with a strong underground musical presence. To date, the band is working on releasing their first EP, and then their full-length album will follow.
They have a hard approach, but they try to combine that with a more smooth, positive sound. If they were to try and name the genres that influence their sound, they could easily make associations with stoner rock, grunge, rock'n'roll, indie, and pop. Still, their goal is to create a complete sound and not a mosaic of genres.
