I'm a retired police officer living in the desert of southeastern California. I spent four years in Vietnam from September 1966 to July 1970 and recently published a book about my journey through life, Vietnam, and the search for my Amerasian daughter.

Who I'd like to meet: I like the chance meetings I have with military people in malls, on the streets, etc. Always happy to shake their hands and thank them for their service. Most of them would be able to teach most of our politicians a thing or two about how the real world works.
Hi. Never endured a Tropical Storm or Hurricane in the States. But back in October of 1970,in Vietnam,I was in the middle of Typhoon Kate. I called in hundreds of helicopters to rescue Vietnamese from the flooded low lying valleys. Too bad the American people,in the '70's,didn't hear about this and the other good stuff that their Freedom Warriors did. We were young men. We tried to do the right thing---------------------------------
