band biogs are boring, so let's keep things brief.....
We formed at the end of 2001 in Manchester, wrote a bunch of songs, played gigs in any place that would have us, then recorded our debut e.p. in 2002 called "my dead lover" which received some very good critical acclaim, although some people found it a little bit too dark and depressing but what do they know, they're obviously way too happy
The BBC used the track 'Aporia' from the e.p, on a documentary about prostitutes and paid us no money.
In 2003 we recorded our second e.p. "six degrees of separation" recorded on the cheap in our friend's experimental studio. In hindsight we hate the way this recording sounds, except our drummer, who likes it, but then again he's just a drummer so what does he know. We like the tunes on it though and still play a lot of them live.
Our second bassist left the band; he is buried in a marsh somewhere in Louisiana.
We then started to gig up and down the country with our 3rd bassist and began to form the sound we have always wanted. We have just recorded our 3rd e.p. "Trichroma" which we are extremely proud of. We hope it touches or revolts you in some way. that is why we made it.
