The Giannies scoprono per caso l’universo del rock’n’roll primitivo, quello nato nei 50, e decidono di riproporlo a modo loro: il risultato è un rock and roll fortemente “sporcato” da influenze punk e rock di ultima generazione. La band comincia la propria attività riproponendo classici di Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry e altri grandi artisti degli anni 50, pescando anche dal repertorio italiano. Dopo poco più di un anno di attività i nostri registrano “I Feel Allright”, primo disco della band, completamente autoprodotto, comprendente 11 inediti che attingono a piene mani dalla migliore tradizione rock’n’roll e punk rock, il tutto mischiato in maniera semplice e diretta. Ora, con alle spalle più di 100 concerti tra Sardegna e resto d'Italia (alcuni delle quali di supporto a nomi quali Misfits, Adolescents, Ignite, Peter Pan Speed Rock, Linea 77, Skiantos,) e la ristampa di “I Feel Allright” grazie ad una coproduzione tra tre etichette indipendenti diverse provenienti da Germania, Stati Uniti e Russia, i nostri tornano sulla scena con l'oliato spettacolo del loro sporco Rock'n'roll, impreziosito dalla presenza di nuove canzoni, sempre più targate “Giannies”. Tutto è pronto per la presentazione di Wastin' my days, il nuovo singolo! Non potrete fare altro che muovervi! /ENGLISH VERSION/ The Giannies discovered the former Rock'n'roll, the one from the fifties, by chance, and they decided to propose it again in their own way: the result was a new kind of rock'n'roll, "dirtied" by the newest punk/rock influences (The band formers have a Punk/HC and Metal Background). The band started its activity playing Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry's classical and other songs also from the italian fifties. The Giannies' sound is like a rock'n'roll cocktail of Rockabilly, punk, blues and heavy rock! About an year later they recorded their first CD: "I feel All right" (11 tracks), totally self produced by the band. Immediately they began a tour around Sardinia and Italy. Now, with more than 100 concerts (some of them by support to band like Misfits, Adolescents, Ignite, Peter Pan Speed Rock, Linea 77, Skiantos,) and a re-printing of “I feel all right” (with the cooperation of three independent labels from Germany, Russia and United States), The Giannies are coming back to stages with their dirty show of rock’n’roll increased by the presence of new songs, and now they're ready to present the new single "Wastin my days". You can’t do anything else other than shake your ass!
