In the first Gilded Age in this country, societal discontent grew until the country was gripped by violent strikes and protests at the turn of the century. This time, the power elite is better equipped. Now the government can brand malcontents as terrorists, gather secret evidence against them without judicial review, and bring the full power of the government to bear with fewer restraints... We're going back to the land.
