Bio
..The Gingers are a London based noisy rock band... ..The Gingers came to life in an office in London in 2004 after a late night drinking session down The Hatchet on Garlick Hill, when some crazy fool came up with the idea of starting a band called "Ginger Ringpiece.".. ..We played our first gig at the Hatchet a few months later to critical acclaim (very critical!). After playing an arts fair and an impromptu acoustic performance in Hyde Park, we thought it was time to take on the rest of London.....We finally dropped the "Ringpiece" moniker when we entered a Battle of the Bands at the Rock Garden, in Covent Garden. Winning the first heat was a great moment for us and we've had so much support from our friends and other bands in London that we've never really looked back.....Since then we've played at GlastonSherry festival and some of London's best "pub circuit" venues: The Hope & Anchor, the Watershed and The Caernarvon Castle... ........ .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. -

Well hello there
The much anticipated Gamages Model Train Club album is now wonderfully finished and on sale.
There's a beautifully designed digipack CD, featuring illustrations by Benjamin Harrison of each song, and full lyrics booklet.
You can also of course buy the MP3s from Amazon, iTunes and most other digital emporiums.

"Gamages Model Train Club impart an energy and eloquent lyricism that is part devil-souled bluesman and part 19th century gentleman's club…"
- www.junkmedia.com, New York
"Evoking the rhythmical gnarliness of The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Gamages' 'The Loss of Gamages Model Train Club' sounds like a cage battle between Belle and Sebastian and Arcade Fire held in Nick Cave's living room"
- Artrocker Magazine, London
"the Gamages Model Train Club album appearing at platform one could well be one of the albums of the year"
- The Devil Has The Best Tuna, UK
