   The Globe Coffee Lounge's Blurbs
About me:
We are now open for lunch! Our hours are Monday-Thursday, 11a.m. to 1a.m.; Friday 11a.m. to 2a.m.; Saturday 4p.m. to 2a.m. On Sundays we are daydreaming...

We are at 532 1st Ave. N. in downtown St. Pete, and our digits are 727.898.5282, if you want to talk to us!

nice little plug in the weekend section from Laura Reiley, the food critic at the times...

The Globe beguiles with its bohemian vibe and top-notch coffee (complete with seasonal latte art). Sweet!!!!

Thank you St. Pete Times for naming the Globe in your list of the area's top 100 restaurants!

And again! Thanks for including us for best coffee house! Yippee!!!!

Musicians!!!! Do you want to play at the Globe? Then please read this first before contacting us. Please send or drop off a cd if you are interested in playing here. (532 1st Ave. N. St. Pete, Fl 33701) We love alternative music, some of the New Folk, primarily acoustic (really loud, though we love it, sounds really bad in our clattery room), and interesting versions of other styles. We like original music, though a couple of covers are okay. The Globe doesn't have its own sound system, so you have to provide one. We don't take any money from the door, and want you to thrive, so we expect both you and I will do promotion for a show. If this sounds good to you, then lets get something going. Thanks, JoEllen

OK, so somehow or another, our Tampa fans voted us all the way out to you guys, and well we didn't mind playing the Warped Tour at all. Same bunch of people are running another contest, and we'd be coming out there again for a BOTB to play the PacTour. So if you wanna' get us out there, click the box, register, and vote every day or whatever. But yeah... it'd be a good gig for us, so help us out eh?

Thanks - Kc & I.E.
