WATCH OUT PLANET, HERE COME THE GLORY.
Okay so heres the facts.
The Glory write and play songs from their own world. A world where the Velvets are on speaking terms with The Meters, where Iggy is enjoying a late lunch with Bootsy. Pass the salt Mother Fucker! Where David Bowie is up for a borrow from Nile Rogers. Its a place where the line gets a little hazy.
It may seem weird that this is the musical heritage of a four piece from the Midlands and not the Badlands, but theres an almost primal instinct to fuse some serious personal subjects with an urge to dance. The kind of dancing where you dont care if somebody is watching.
The Glory are trying to create an otherworldlliness, they may even meet George Clinton there and play him some Voidoids, who knows. The Glory, going beyond the wall of sound.
