Three! beautiful boys, from the same small town, went on an adventure. It was to become legend. It all began when they were digging out in the woods, adding on to their fort. When one of them, prehaps the most beautiful, said..."I believe we shall become a group, a band, yes a band called THE GLEAM!" This was fine with the other beautiful boy, since he had no friends. Once they acquired some instruments, the talented beautiful boys created the most gorgeous sound. With a steady, cool wind the sound spread all around. Elders began to weep, children began to dance, sweethearts made love, dogs did cats...it truly was a beautiful sound. Luckily for you dear reader, the sound is still around. Yes, and you can become a part of this tale...how?...well, that is easy, just go to see THE GLEAM when they are playin', or get their records, and don't forget to tell yr friend.

When you hear it, you know it: the undeniable spirit. They may sing out of tune and they may play out of tune but The Goddamned Gleam don't care. Live they're a force to be reckoned with, with their amps turned up to ridiculous volume and spending the majority of the set harassing whatever drummer happens to be backing them at the moment all the while pushing out a brand of alt-country that you can't help but to like.
Hey you guys - I had a blast at the VFW! I hope the money was right... looking back I maybe shouldn't have got so drunken. But if it all worked out then I'm a happy camper!
I can't wait to see your show on the 7th! VFWs are so...sexy? I always end up dancing with rrrrrreally old men who like to wear light up American Flag pins on their flannel shirts.
Of course I'll be there my loves!! And I can actually party with you this time, yay!! Baby is out of the belly and Mama is ready to rock n roll! hahaha! Can't wait, keep me posted. Muah!
