The goldbrickers have been described as a young and soulful, California country band. Inspired by folk, bluegrass, early rock n' roll, blues and r&b, the goldbrickers pay homage to American roots music while simultaneously offering some lyrical twists and positive energy, a fresh "country & west coast" sound. Lead singer/songwriter Nicole Summerwood writes about land, space, love and relationships in a heartbreakingly honest way while adding a dimension of transformation, spirituality and fun that keep spirits high. Guitarist Bob Daspit with his energetic, often dazzling playing, summons the spirit of bluegrass to his more contemporary and unique guitar stylings. The term goldbricker, with its origins in the goldmine days of California points to the simple fact that they would always rather play music than work at their day jobs. With their forthcoming release heaven , they may not have to. Kevin Russell host of "Down from the Mountain" KRCB radio show says, "...soulful, tough and tender vocals, inventive incendiary guitar work, top-notch songwriting, these folks have it all." Their California country sound is accessible to country and non-country music fans alike, building bridges with their appealing brand of popular music.

Hey! I'm back from the tour, and i made a little video of some of the highlights of 2006....complete with an encounter i had with a Japanese toilet!! Hey! Merry Christmas! I hope Santa was good to you. He was fairly good to me even though my behavior has vascillated this year at times!
I start the long drive to Scotland tomorrow to start the UK tour.......i hope i don't freeze my butt off!
