Noise that can arguably be called music; music that can arguably be called noise.
The Good Fight formed in early 2009. Comprised of Cory Jackson (guitar, vox, the fire), Thomas Adkins (bass, handclaps, the sexy) and Alex McCoy (drums, backup vox, more sexy), The Good Fight started playing local open mic nights. They landed a couple paying gigs, but before long, the sexy and the fire combined to form a hurricane of hellacious virility that tore the band asunder.
Three months later, the band lassoed the hurricane into control and wrestled it into a halo that would crown the band with a holy pardon and a divine mandate to rock the fuck out of people.
In July of 2009, The Good Fight took up its cross and began playing gigs at local bars, defying people to listen to their divinely inspired rock and roll cloaked in hellfire. Before long, they caught the attention of local guitar legend, Bud Carroll, who invited the band to record in his Trackside Studios.
With some guidance and motivation from Carroll, The Good Fight laid down what would become their debut EP, "Friendly Fire." The six tracks on the record smack of The White Stripes, The Black Keys, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and yes, The Fab Four themselves.
